Interviews 1 and 2

Partner Interview #1  

  • This will be your first interview to practice your communication skills and use the CFAM model to develop an interview guide 

  • This interview will be done with one of your group members 

  • This interview will be video recorded and reviewed within your group with your professor (cameral pointing to interviewer) 

  • Assessment Assignment* due prior to class time 

Family Interview #1  

  • This will be your first family interview 

  • This interview will be done with one of your group members as a team interviewing a family (2 or more people that self-identify as family members) 

  • This interview will be video recorded and reviewed by group members and professor (camera pointed to interviewers) 

  • Assessment Assignment* due prior to class time

Interviews 3 and 4

Partner Interview #2  

  • This interview will be done with a person in your group that you have not yet interviewed 

  • This interview will give continued practice at your interview skills and utilize Denham’s Family Health Model 

  • This interview is not video recorded 

  • Assessment Assignment* due prior to class time 

Family (Cultural) Interview #2  

  • This will be your second family interview 

  • This interview will be done by you and one of your group members as a team interviewing a family (2 or more people that self-identify as family members) that are from a different cultural/ethnic background than yourselves 

  • This interview is not be video recorded 

  • Assessment Assignment* due prior to class time
